Terms and conditions

Who you are contracting with

Defected Clothing has no published contact address yet, so there is currently no way to reach us in writing. Please do not place an order.

⚠ This page is not finished. UK law requires an online shop to publish the trader's identity and geographic address before an order is placed, and the following are not yet published here: business structure (company or sole trader), trading address, customer contact address, VAT registration status, returns address.

How the contract is formed

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract comes into existence when we send you an email confirming that the order has been dispatched — not when the payment is taken.

If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, or if it was listed at the wrong price through an obvious error, the order will be cancelled and refunded in full. That is the only circumstance in which a confirmed order is cancelled by us.

Price and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and shown inclusive of VAT where VAT applies. Delivery is shown separately at checkout and is never added after payment.

The price charged is always the price calculated by our own server from our own catalogue at the moment you check out.

Your rights

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Your right to cancel is set out in the returns policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.
