What is stored

Your basket is kept in your browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device, is never sent anywhere except when you choose to check out, and clearing your browser data removes it.

When you go to pay, Stripe sets cookies necessary to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those are strictly necessary for a transaction you asked for. Stripe's own privacy notice covers what it does with them.
